I'm Molly and I'd like to welcome you to Sharky Waters, thanks for diving in!
My sister Erin and I have been dreaming and scheming about starting our own company for years. We had a brief run selling stickers & friendship bracelets in the late nineties, but shuttered our operation when school started in earnest.
I graduated from The University of Texas in 2008 and began my post graduate work shortly after in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre Writing Program in New York. My career began in earnest when my parents praised my sketch, RuPaul Revere Rides Again, as an “interesting use of a history degree.”
Erin graduated from The University of Texas in 2012 with a degree in journalism. She returned to the Forty Acres in 2013 for law school and graduated from The University of Texas School of Law in 2016.
I worked for the Seattle Seahawks and Seattle Sounders FC digital media team for four seasons and one Super Bowl win. I moved back to New York in 2014 to build, write, and run the New York Red Bulls social media brand and contribute to NewYorkRedBulls.com.
Erin enjoyed a very brief respite after graduation before buckling down for the Texas Bar Exam. She sat the bar exam in the summer of 2016 and was delighted to find out she passed a quick three months later.
Erin and I are so excited to launch Sharky Waters, and finally have the opportunity to work, write, and create together.
